I was just curious ... what styles of silat have you practiced? Who have you/ are you studying with?? this question is really for anyone not just Aaron.

Yup. I am still alive. things have been a little crazy around my house. I have been trying to get my life back in order. Now I just found out that I did get a job in Iraq. I found out on monday, and they are saying I ship out on sunday. not a lot of time to put things together. I tried to reply once already, but my computer froze up. so if I am double posting I apologize. I am going to try to keep in touch I would still like to meet some of the people from this site. Maybe even train with some one from here as well. I do have my main Sifu I study with, but I like to keep as many contacts as possible. there are a lot of different styles out there and I belive that most of them have something worth learning. I will try to keep in touch, and look forward to meeting some or all of you.

Mr. Garuda, to answer your question I have studied with Guru Stark, but haven't done much in about a year. One of my New Years resolutions was to change that. The number I have earlier in the thread is still valid, just give me a call and leave a message whenever.

I met with Philip yesterday and we both had a good time training. We're working out a training schedule but there's still an open invitation to anyone who wants to join us.

I have recently moved to the Saint Pete area and am interested in Training Silat. I have previous experience in Pencak Silat Serak and Kuntao Silat. I have sent emails to the Florida practitioners on the PSP website but have not had a response back. Please reply back I would like to get back to training with other people.

Thanks for contacting us. I got your referral from Jose Moretalla (not sure I spelled that correctly) and I will try to help.

The person most active and that you should talk to in Tampa would be Philip Macdonald.

Hope that helps. If you ever want to come to St. Cloud/Orlando I would be happy to show you how the system works and to teach you what I can.

I also have videos and some books available that help to details some elements of the system.
